You can start your search using the links below for passengers and surnames of interest, but I also suggest using my custom-built Search Engine! This Search Engine will search ALL off-site Internet pages and Olive Tree Genealogy pages for ships passenger lists to Australia & New Zealand. [301 ships]
TIPS FOR SUCCESSFUL SEARCHING:
- Be creative with spelling - remember that spelling wasn't exact in the early years
- Remember that transcribers can make errors so if you don't find your ancestor, do a manual search by each list.
- Some common mistakes in reading old handwriting are: L=S; K=R; V=W; U=N; F=T; ss=fs and so on
- Search Engines are indexed once a week, so new lists put online may not be in the Search Engine for 7 days. Thus you may miss an ancestor unless you also search using the links below
