For those who wish to know Cornelis Van Slyke's lineage, his baptism is found in the Schenectady records in 1744 to Adriaen Van Slyke and Breghie Toll. Adriaen (Cornelis' father) was the son of Cornelis Van Slyke and Claartje Bradt, grandson of my ancestor Jacques Cornelise Van Slyke, and great-grandson of Cornelis Antonissen Van Slyke and his Mohawk wife Ots-Toch.
