Arrived at Philadelphia, Pa 15 Aug 1750 on the ship "Royal Union". Captain Clement Nicholson sailed from Rotterdam & Portsmouth with 500 onboard.

The Foreigners whose Names are underwritten, imported in the Ship Royal Union, Clement Nicholson, Commander, from Rotterdam, but last from Portsmouth in England, did this day take & subscribe the usual Qualifications.

"We subscribers, natives and late inhabitants of the Palatinate upon the Rhine, having transported ourselves into this Province....promise that we will be faithful to his present MAJESTY KING GEORGE THE SECOND..."
